Iron Oak Properties is a family business that invests in and manages a portfolio of mobile home parks. We are in the affordable housing business and currently own 6 properties with about 300 tenants. We make money by buying under managed parks, completing necessary improvement and repairs and selling after a 5 to 10 year hold period.
Over the next few years we plan to sell some of our current properties and use the proceeds to complete 1031 exchanges into new parks. The purpose of this site is to start conversations with prospective buyers and sellers and prequalify multiple deals. This will ensure we can meet the timing requirements of a successful exchange with the IRS, on all ends, and with all buyer(s) and seller(s.)
